Nicholas J. Mercadante

Attorney Mercadante is thrilled to return home to Connecticut to continue pursuing his passion for protecting people’s rights with The Reardon Law Firm.

Attorney Mercadante earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2010, where he graduated with specializations in Alternative Dispute Resolution and International Law. While in law school, he served as a Senior Justice of Tulane’s Moot Court Board. He competed at the American Association for Justice National Trial Advocacy Competition, and was recognized as an Outstanding Oral Advocate at the Ruby R. Vale National Corporate Appellate Competition. He was a 3rd place finisher in consecutive years at the National Baseball Arbitration Competition. Attorney Mercadante’s competition experience culminated by placing as a finalist and champion in Tulane’s 81st annual Senior Appellate and Alternative Dispute Resolution Competitions. For his accomplishments, he received Tulane’s Moot Court “Marble” award upon graduation.
 
As an undergraduate, Attorney Mercadante attended Fairfield University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, with a minor in Peace and Justice Studies.

Attorney Mercadante is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the New London County Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association. He is licensed to practice both in Connecticut and New Jersey.
