The Reardon Law Firm, P.C. a personal injury and wrongful death firm in New London, Connecticut, is honoring those who are keeping the public healthy and safe during the Coronavirus pandemic. On May 5, 2020, the Firm illuminated its iconic and historic office building in bright blue to recognize healthcare workers, first responders and others on the front lines in the fight against the virus. A photo is included with this release and others are available upon request.

With the help of a professional lighting designer, the Leander Shipman house, which is 100 years old this year, was colorfully lit by numerous blue flood lights. The building, on Hempstead Street in New London, continues to remain illuminated at this time and will be throughout the pandemic. The Firm traces its roots to Hull, McGuire and Hull, which was also founded in 1920.

The Leander Shipman House was built and occupied by Dr. Shipman and his wife as their residence and medical office for many years. Dr. Shipman a noted physician for many years in New London treated many patients during the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918 while this house was being built. “We thought it would be especially appropriate, given this fact, to show our support for those who are on the front lines during this crisis,” said Kelly Reardon, managing partner of the Firm.
