Barnes and his client a significant verdict of $103,000 in a car accident case in New London Superior Court on January 6, 2011. The plaintiff suffered a foot and ankle injury and, before trial, the insurance company for the other driver offered only $22,000 to settle the case. The defendant argued that the plaintiff’s injury was entirely pre-existing, but Attorney Barnes was able to convince the jury otherwise.
