In April of 2013, Attorney Kelly Reardon successfully obtained a $102,000 verdict for a woman who was thrown from a horse and sustained serious injuries at a stable in Dayville, Connecticut. The verdict came in after a trial to a jury in Willimantic. The case was hotly contested and the trial involved expert testimony from multiple medical witnesses. The victim suffered crippling injuries to her back. The jury not only awarded damages to compensate the Plaintiff for her injuries, but also awarded punitive damages to punish the stable owner for her conduct.
