The 47-year-old female Plaintiff was killed in a one car motor vehicle collision in East Hampton, Connecticut, when the driver of the convertible she was riding in lost control and crashed into a tree after accelerating to 71 mph just seconds before the collision on a narrow road in a densely wooded area where the speed limit is only 25 mph. Both passengers in the vehicle made claims against the defendant driver, the Plaintiff’s fiancé.
