This year’s event marked an important milestone, celebrating a decade of The Milestone Foundation’s work while recognizing the newest recipients of its Compassionate Counsel Awards. The Reardon Law Firm was honored to join members of the plaintiff bar and civil justice community in celebrating both the Foundation’s 10-year anniversary and the attorneys recognized for their commitment to compassionate advocacy.
The celebration was especially meaningful to our firm because of our own connection to the Compassionate Counsel Award. In 2024, The Reardon Law Firm’s Managing Partner, Kelly E. Reardon, was named a Compassionate Counsel Award recipient, joining a distinguished group of trial lawyers recognized for the care, integrity, and compassion they bring to their representation of clients.
The Milestone Foundation’s Compassionate Counsel Program recognizes trial lawyers who go beyond providing skilled legal representation by placing their clients’ well-being at the center of their work. Honorees are recognized for demonstrating empathy and humanity, maintaining high standards of integrity, and advocating for justice while helping clients navigate some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives.
Having celebrated Kelly’s recognition in 2024, our attorneys were especially pleased to return this year to recognize the 2026 Compassionate Counsel Award recipients and celebrate the Foundation’s tenth anniversary.
The values embodied by the Compassionate Counsel Award are also values that have long been central to The Reardon Law Firm’s practice. For decades, our firm has represented individuals and families throughout Connecticut who have suffered serious injuries and losses due to the negligence and wrongdoing of others. We understand that representing an injured person involves more than pursuing a legal claim. Our clients often come to us during extraordinarily difficult periods in their lives, and we believe effective advocacy requires understanding both the legal challenges they face and the personal impact an injury can have on them and their families.
Celebrating 10 Years of The Milestone Foundation
The 2026 celebration also recognized 10 years of The Milestone Foundation’s work supporting plaintiffs and the civil justice community.
The Milestone Foundation provides financial assistance to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship as a result of catastrophic injuries. Its work recognizes an important reality faced by many plaintiffs: while a legal case is pending, the financial consequences of a serious injury do not wait.
The Reardon Law Firm was proud to join fellow plaintiff attorneys and advocates in celebrating this milestone and supporting an organization committed to helping injured individuals through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
